We are currently seeking a Director Of Nursing to lead our Geriatrics care team.
The successful candidate will have at least 10 years experience in Geriatrics and strong interpersonal skills.
The Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing all nursing practices and resolving any issues among the staff.
We are looking for an experienced candidate who is able to organize and lead a team with an eye towards improving work culture and staff satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Address the needs of patients and their families to ensure comfort and satisfaction.
Provide support of the nursing team.
Plan and evaluate the nursing care of the unit.
Oversee daily operations of the nursing department.
Monitor employee morale and facilitate team building activities.
Review, revise, and implement new procedures as needed.
Train new employees.
Research senior healthcare issues.
Train new nurses on patient care.
Communicate with medical staff.
